Hey, every time I try to load the game I get an error message "failed to load package.json. check to make sure the file is In the same folder as the app" any idea how to fix? I changed nothing from the downloads.
Just read that the game is not abandoned, will it still be animated? I am thinking about support the game on Patreon but I would like to have some more information before i do

Sounds like you tried to play it via the app and not from a folder.
Unpack the file to a folder and play it from there since some games are not made to work with the Itch.io app.

Im really interested in this game, but since its on hold, im still unsure about getting this game.
But im willing to follow it and hope it gets worked more on.

is it me or is the scenes laggy and would stop every other frame?
